Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to familiarise students with basic knowledge of information technology. Students learn about the principles of operating systems and how data is stored and processed in computer memory. Students acquire skills in preparing presentations using computer software and working remotely. Students will learn about selected graphics software used in biological/natural sciences.
The aim of the module is to familiarise students with basic knowledge of information technology. Students learn the principles of operating systems and how data is stored and processed in computer memory. They acquire skills in preparing presentations using computer software and working remotely. They also become familiar with selected graphics software used in biological and natural sciences. The module prepares students to integrate information and communication technologies (ICT) into the teaching of biology and natural sciences at various educational levels, supporting the development of analytical thinking and project work skills, as well as shaping students' digital and natural science competences. It also develops the skills necessary to evaluate, create, store, present and exchange information in an educational environment. |
