Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the module is to present issues relating to the history of general film between 1889 and 1926. In the module, students gain knowledge of the origins of cinema in Europe and the United States of America, and then learn about selected phenomena, trends, authors and genres of silent cinema.
