Purpose and description of the content of education: | Compulsory subject for the specialization: Electroradiology.
During the classes, students learn the principles of positioning patients for X-ray examinations:
Upper extremities
Lower extremities
Chest
Skull and facial bones
During the classes conducted in Radiology Departments, students learn to independently position patients for various examinations and select appropriate exposure conditions. They familiarize themselves with the use of shields for patient protection. They learn the process of developing X-ray images using analog X-ray machines as well as obtaining images using indirect digital radiography and digital radiography. They become acquainted with the document flow in the Radiology Department.
