Purpose and description of the content of education:
The Fundamentals of Chemistry module is designed to familiarize the student with the basic concepts and laws of chemistry. The student will learn the principles of nomenclature and classification of chemical compounds, basic knowledge of atomic structure and bond formation in molecules, physical and chemical properties of chemical elements and compounds, and prediction of the course of reactions and their recording by reaction equations. Can perform basic chemical calculations and perform simple chemical experiments.
