Programme code: W4-S1BF19.2025
Semester: summer semester 2026/2027
Language of instruction: Polish
Form of verification: course work
ECTS credits: 1
Purpose and description of the content of education:
The purpose of the module is to provide information on the optics of vision, allowing students to understand and solve problems related to image formation, in a qualitative and quantitative way, as well as with the optics of the human visual system and optical correction. During the course, the student will acquire knowledge and understanding in the following thematic areas: eye model, powers of the optical elements of the eye, retinal image quality, radiation and the eye.
List of modules that must be completed before starting this module (if necessary): not applicable
Learning outcome of the module Codes of the learning outcomes of the programme to which the learning outcome of the module is related [level of competence: scale 1-5]
The student knows and is capable of explaining in an understandable way (both orally and in writing): components of the optical system of the eye, schematic eye models, dioptrics of the eye, quality of retinal image, and effects of radiation on the eye. [E1]
