Purpose and description of the content of education:
Celem kursu jest przybliżenie studentom zagadnień współczesnej kultury wybranych krajów azjatyckich, jej specyfiki oraz kierunków rozwoju. Omawiane zagadnienia obejmują kwestie tożsamości narodowej oraz tożsamości regionalnych, kształtowania się kultury i teorii kulturowych w różnych kontekstach społecznych i politycznych. Szczególny nacisk położony jest na współczesną sytuację społeczną, polityczną, kulturową i religijną wybranych krajów obszar oraz na ewoluujący wizerunek omawianych krajów ostatniej dekady XX i pierwszych dwóch dekad XXI wieku.
