Purpose and description of the content of education: | This module invites students to explore a diverse range of contemporary narrative forms and storytelling practices across different media and cultural contexts. Emphasizing innovation and transformation in how stories are told, the module examines new textualities emerging from literature, digital culture, graphic novels, interactive media, etc.. Students will engage with issues such as genre hybridity, multimodality, experimental narrative structures, and the relationship between traditional and emerging forms of storytelling. Emphasis is placed on developing critical reading and analytical skills, as well as an understanding of how modern storytelling practices reflect and shape contemporary cultural, political, and technological realities.Students select one course from a curated set of monographic courses, allowing for individualized focus on areas such as digital narratives, autofiction, modern literary practices, transmedia storytelling, or narratives in popular culture. |
