Purpose and description of the content of education: | This module offers students a choice between monographic courses in Film Studies, Television Studies, or Visual Narratives. It introduces key concepts, theories, and methods for critically analyzing visual media as forms of storytelling and cultural expression. Students will examine how films, television programs, and other visual narratives construct meaning, reflect social contexts, and engage audiences. Through selected case studies and critical readings, the course develops skills in visual analysis, theoretical interpretation, and argumentation. Students will gain an understanding of narrative structures, genre conventions, and the influence of historical, technological, and global factors on contemporary media. |
