Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to introduce students to fundamental issues concerning the nature, structure, and function of narrative in literature and other forms of culture. The module presents key concepts, models, and classical narrative theories, and explores the use of narrative across different forms of storytelling. Students analyze various storytelling strategies and consider their role in social and cultural communication. The course develops skills in analyzing narrative structures in literary texts and other forms of expression, as well as critical thinking about the functions of narrative. |
