Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module introduces students to the fundamentals of literary interpretation in an academic context. The aim is to develop skills in analysis, argumentation, and the articulation of personal readings, as well as the ability to read literary texts with attention to their structure, meanings, and context. The course is based on active reading (e.g. close reading) of diverse texts. Classes include collaborative and individual interpretations, analysis of selected passages, and discussions designed to foster conscious and critical engagement with literature.
