Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to support students in planning and developing their BA thesis. The specific objectives include initiating research based on a coherent methodology, formulating a research question, and engaging with relevant scholarly literature. In collaboration with their supervisor, students explore topics within the scope of their field of study—such as English-language literature and English-language-based cultural studies—depending on the seminar's focus.Particular emphasis is placed on narrowing down the research topic, identifying key sources, developing a methodological approach suited to the selected thesis topic, and preparing the foundations of the first chapter of the BA thesis. |
