Purpose and description of the content of education: | The module aims to develop translation skills for cultural texts, including songs, interviews, game manuals, press releases dedicated to cultural legacy, guides, and exhibition or museum brochures, etc. Students will explore the theoretical and practical aspects of this type of translation, focusing on challenges related to cultural differences, formal and informal language, and content localization. The module covers translation strategies and tools that support the translation process. Practical classes focus on the analysis and translation of cultural texts, taking into account the specific audiences and the medium. |
