Purpose and description of the content of education:
The objective of this module is to familiarize students with foundational concepts and essential terminology within the field of translation studies. It aims to provide a structured overview of the key stages and components involved in the translation process, while also introducing students to a range of approaches, techniques, and strategies used in the translation of both literary and functional (non-literary) texts. The module also provides an overview of the main theories in the field of translation studies.
