Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the course is to present and discuss the major issues of US history, placing particular emphasis on the formation of American statehood, the evolution of American identities, and the position of the USA in international politics. Students are expected to develop skills necessary for a critical analysis of historical processes and their interdisciplinary impact on other areas of research within the humanities.
