Purpose and description of the content of education:
The subject focuses on analyzing the impact of tourism on the economy, society, as well as understanding the market mechanisms that shape the tourism industry. Students will become familiar with key concepts in economics, sociology and management that are essential to understanding the functioning of the tourism sector. The subject develops skills in analyzing the economic and social effects of tourism and preparing students to make business and strategic decisions in the tourism industry. The subject combines elements of economics, sociology, geography and tourism management. The main objective of the subject Socio-economic foundations of tourism is to develop skills in analyzing the impact of tourism on the economy and society and preparing students to make business and strategic decisions in the tourism industry
