Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to familiarize students with issues related to ways of monitoring compliance with European Union (EU) law. The lecture is intended to enable students to become familiar with the concept of European Union law, institutions responsible for monitoring compliance with EU law, and the mechanisms that have been developed in connection with this control, both at the EU level and at the level of the Member States. The module therefore discusses the types of sources of law, the competences of the Court of Justice of the EU and the types of complaints it considers. In addition, the lecture discusses the competences of national courts related to monitoring compliance with EU law.
Students should learn from the lecture the ability to practically use various types of complaints that serve to protect rights under European Union law. |
