Purpose and description of the content of education:
Transport geography introduces the basic concepts, issues and research methods related to transport. Explains the natural and socio-economic determinants of the development and transformation of transport. Introduces the history and causes of changes in transport. Characterises the different types of transport and presents the spatial structure of transport networks, their change and the layout of the transport of people and goods. Describes issues of transport accessibility, urban mass transport and logistics.
