Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to introduce students to the discipline of game studies. The student acquires knowledge of the history and theory of games and the discipline. Knows and understands the complexity of the issue and recognises the various types of games and their mechanisms of operation, and knows the basic tools of analysis and interpretation. Understands game theory in the perspective of cultural studies and media studies. |
