Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to introduce students to the basic issues and areas of research in contemporary communication theory, pointing to the interdisciplinarity of cultural communication as a field of study. During the course, those taking the course receive an understanding of the role of communication for the creation, maintenance and change of culture. They become familiar with the analysis of the mediatisation of cultural communication, with a particular focus on the identity nature of these processes, and attempt empirical verification by determining their impact on social communication. |
