Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to develop the ability to analyse and interpret selected contemporary theatre texts. Within the module, the student will become acquainted with various types of texts used in theatre (drama, script, adaptation) and methods of adapting texts - artistic and non-artistic - for the contemporary stage (rewriting, recycling, New Writing, etc.) taking into account their cultural conditions. He/she acquires competence in recognising characteristic forms of stage representation, dramatisation, dialogue shaping, and construction of the represented world. |
