Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the module is to sensitise students to an understanding of the cultural space of Silesia. The student develops critical awareness necessary to undertake research reflection on the space of community and creation of contemporary Silesian design. The students will become acquainted with the intellectual background allowing for the formulation of a specific understanding of cultural space in relation to the problems of identity, region, locality, distinct space of thinking, visual strategies, multiculturalism.
