Purpose and description of the content of education:
The student acquires knowledge in the field of physical and socio-economic geography necessary to determine the relationship between man and the environment on a regional scale, useful in spatial development. He learns about the natural conditions of the Silesian Upland and anthropogenic transformations of the natural environment in the field. He gets acquainted with the genesis and transformation processes of the traditional economic region. He sees the connections between the physical and geographical environment and human activity in a highly urbanized area.
