Purpose and description of the content of education:
The geography of settlement brings closer the issues of rural and urban settlement. Defines the basic concepts, explains the factors shaping the settlement, and characterizes the types of villages. He describes the development of cities and the criteria for their separation. Characterizes the spatial structure and models of their development. It describes the functions of cities and urbanization processes in various spatial scales. It familiarizes students with the fundamental theories in the settlement field and raises the issue of the settlement network.
