Purpose and description of the content of education:
The content of the module concerns preparing the student to conceptualize and independently implement therapeutic projects conducted in selected educational, care and upbringing, social rehabilitation, addiction treatment centers and mental health clinics. Preparing a project involves experimenting with diversity interdisciplinary, available and known forms of expression to the student, based on their conscious and purposeful use and referring to the knowledge obtained in areas key to the field. The project is a practical, creative activity that will be described in the diploma thesis. The module focuses on activities leading to the independent collection and use of information, so that the student formulates conclusions according to his or her own opinion and constructs arguments supported by knowledge and experience. At the same time, he should also act intuitively, efficiently evaluate the art therapy project and possibly modify activities depending on the conditions of its implementation. The module also allows for the analysis of competences necessary to implement one's own artistic concepts and visions based on various techniques and media in accordance with the needs of the person in the process of change (patient).
