Purpose and description of the content of education:
The "Philosophy and Ethics" module has three goals. The first goal is to explain what philosophy and ethics are. The second goal is to present students with the most important anthropological and ethical concepts present in philosophical thinking in subsequent eras (ancient, medieval, modern, contemporary philosophy). The third goal is to discuss selected ontological and epistemological problems, the understanding of which is necessary for competent participation in the contemporary discourse of social sciences (e.g. dispute about universals, psychophysical problem, dispute about the sources of knowledge, truth, absolutism and relativism, skepticism, scientific knowledge, etc.)
