Purpose and description of the content of education:
Purpose Familiarizing the student with the main directions of polymodal therapy with the use of literary text, providing knowledge in the field of behavioral-cognitive and psychodynamic approaches in bibliotherapy. Description of learning content The scope of the lectures includes arrangements related to the needs of recipients requiring support, the essence of metaphorical communication, mediated experience, and the possibilities of diagnosing the patient through expression undertaken during polymodal interpretation of the text. In addition, issues related to the genre theory and the structure of the world of the presented text from the perspective of therapeutic potentiality will be presented. Examples of therapeutic fairy tales in various approaches will also be analyzed. During the workshops, practical activities will be undertaken to exemplify the subject matter in the field of bibliotherapy theory, including the use of multi-sensory activity in order to explain the meanings of the text with emphasis on the needs of the target group (residents, patients, pupils struggling with specific dysfunctions or disabilities).
