Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module contains basic content in the field of printmaking and one of the graphic techniques – relief printing. The aim of the course is to familiarize the student with the family of relief printing techniques (mainly linocut), methods and technology of printing from matrices of various materials, making correct graphic prints and signing graphics. The aim of the course is to shape the individual language of graphic expression (the so-called graphic trace) in creating an artistic message. Classes carried out as part of the module will prepare the student to use workshop skills in the visual expression of artistic concepts and skills appropriate for the use of graphics in the therapeutic process. Classes in the form of exercises – graphic tasks, individual and collective corrections, as well as the student's own work and self-correction are to lead to the achievement of the assumed learning outcomes of the module
