Purpose and description of the content of education:
The workshop will introduce basic information about data visualisation techniques. Participants will learn how to read data presented in graphs, learn about basic tools for creating visualisations. The workshop will also result in an understanding of the importance of visualisation in effective communication and especially in the process of communicating research results, especially the use of data visualisation in interdisciplinary environmental humanities research, where integration of data from different scientific disciplines is needed.
