Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to prepare students theoretically and practically to work in the social, public and non-profit sectors that have an impact on the formulation of climate-environmental local policies. Students will acquire knowledge of various institutions and organisations related to climate-environmental local policies, including city halls, marshal’s offices, metropolitan offices, departmental institutes supervised by the Ministry of Climate and Environment, non-governmental and international organisations and agencies. They will be able to analyse their structure, goals and objectives, which allows students to better understand the institutional context of their operation. The competencies gained during the module are essential to create new environmental initiatives as well as support the existing ones, which aim to improve the quality of life of local communities and generate positive change in society, local communities and institutions. |
