The reflection on the reproduction of social inequalities will take into account the interplay of multiple components, such as gender, sexuality, race, class, ethnicity, entangled in the relations of power and economics. Students will develop the skills to analyse the ways in which different gender and sexual identities are represented in broad contemporary cultural texts such as literature, theatre, performance, film, electronic media, visual arts, etc., particularly taking into account their multiple connections to environmental, ecological, climate policies.
