Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the module is to equip students with practical knowledge of countering violence in public institutions. It will include legal, psychological and cultural aspects related to the reproduction of violence mechanisms, as well as discussing and recognising phenomena such as mobbing, sexual harassment, discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, social and ethnic background, age and ability/disability. The student will be able to recognise and counteract mechanisms related to discrimination, violence and exclusion, as well as to implement equality policies in the workplace and at the university.
