Purpose and description of the content of education: | The module aims to familiarize students, theoretically and practically, with the issues of Poland's international security policy after 1989, as well as to provide extended knowledge of international security. The student is to acquire knowledge thanks to which he will be able to describe and explain the conditions of Poland's international security in the internal and external dimensions, the main determinants shaping Poland's international security policy after 1989 and the primary documents and strategies in the field of shaping the contemporary international security of the Republic of Poland. The classes are also intended to help acquire skills and competencies to critically analyze and evaluate the actions taken by decision-makers in shaping the security of the Republic of Poland in the context of Poland's dynamically changing international environment in its closer (regional and subregional) and more distant (global) surroundings. The aim is also to teach the student the ability to forecast challenges, problems, opportunities and threats to the international security of the Republic of Poland in the face of the changing security paradigm and the strengthening of the multipolar international order. |
