Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the course is to familiarise students with contemporary sources and consequences for tourism in the modern world; typology of threats (natural extreme phenomena, e.g.: hurricanes, cyclones, tsunamis, floods, earthquakes, landslides, ozone hole, greenhouse effect; epidemiological and disease threats, including tropical diseases, as well as socio-economic threats: terrorism, religious conflicts, armed conflicts, etc.), as well as developing the ability to deal rationally with risks and learning about methods of anticipating, reducing or eliminating them
