Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the module is to provide knowledge on the role of a tour guide and tour leader in servicing tourist traffic, including school trips, and to familiarise students with the work workshop of tour guides and tour leaders. Elements of the workshop such as preparation for and handling of coach and air events, accommodation of tourists, organisation of the day and guiding the group, presentation techniques and interpersonal communication and self-presentation will be discussed.
