Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module Tourist Attractions of Poland is designed to give the student an in-depth insight into the sightseeing attractions of Poland that are of interest to the tourist. They include elements of material and spiritual culture (monuments, folklore, objects of national culture) and peculiarities of nature (historical parks, caves, springs, waterfalls, botanical and zoological gardens) which the student will know how to interpret. The student will learn about tourist regions of Poland from Pomerania to the Tatra Mountains and Sudetes. The subject will focus on the study of the whole range of phenomena and processes related to broadly defined tourist attractions in regional terms, together with their practical application.
