Purpose and description of the content of education: | The Innovation Management in Materials Engineering module aims to familiarize students with the concept and types of innovation as well as the goals and models of innovative activities. The module is to bring students closer to the issues related to innovative activities against the background of technical preparation of production, research and development works (R&D), as well as patent and license tests. The module is to provide students with knowledge of the innovation assessment criteria and methods used to assess and select innovative projects. The module is to enable students to learn about the organization of R&D and the inventive and rationalization activities in the enterprise together with innovative strategies of enterprises and innovative risk management, taking into account the economic conditions of innovative activities. The module is to familiarize students with technology transfer issues to the economy, technology market and technology assessment in the field of materials engineering. |
