Crystallography Field of study: Materials Science and Engineering
Programme code: W4-S1MAA19.2023

Module name: Crystallography
Module code: IM1A_KRYST
Programme code: W4-S1MAA19.2023
Semester:
  • summer semester 2024/2025
  • summer semester 2023/2024
Language of instruction: depending on the choice
Form of verification: course work
ECTS credits: 2
Purpose and description of the content of education:
The Crystallography module enables students to navigate the description and classification of crystal structures, both single crystals and polycrystals, based on symmetry and stoichiometry. Students acquire skills in independently acquiring knowledge about the construction of new materials. It also prepares students to utilize this knowledge in further stages of education.
List of modules that must be completed before starting this module (if necessary): not applicable
Learning outcome of the module Codes of the learning outcomes of the programme to which the learning outcome of the module is related [level of competence: scale 1-5]
