Purpose and description of the content of education: | The module aims to provide knowledge of basic definitions and concepts of social problems. The selected phenomena of social pathology and contemporary social problems and issues in the global, national, regional and local dimensions will be discussed during the classes. The course allows you to acquire the ability to identify areas of social dysfunction, indicate their sources and determinants, and look for ways to counteract these phenomena effectively. The module is an introduction to problem areas implemented in depth in subsequent semesters as part of a group of modules entitled "Social work in various areas of social problems". |
