Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module is an indispensable part of the formation of knowledge and skills needed to practice as a social worker. Its purpose is to familiarize students with the primary method used in social work: working with an individual case. It includes presenting key concepts, principles and methodological issues, with particular emphasis on acquiring the ability to diagnose the needs and resources of individuals and their families. The module has its continuation in the following semester entitled. "Theories and methods of social work with the group and community" provides students with complementary knowledge and skills in classical social work methods.
