Purpose and description of the content of education:
The module aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to apply the basic concepts of psychology in social work practice and the essential theoretical currents in psychology. By learning the basics of mechanisms and patterns of human behaviour, students will develop the ability to understand the mental processes and phenomena that guide human behaviour; to distinguish the types and functions of individual differences. By learning the basics of mechanisms and patterns of human behaviour, students will develop the ability to understand the mental processes and phenomena that guide human behaviour; to distinguish the types and functions of individual differences, students will develop the ability to understand the cognitive processes and phenomena that drive human behaviour; to determine the types and functions of individual differences in human psychological functioning and elements of personality structure, understand mental disorders and diseases. The module aims to acquire the ability to use psychological knowledge in designing diagnostic, preventive, psychoeducational and intervention activities for use in direct social work practice.
