Purpose and description of the content of education:
Moduł "Montaż filmu fabularnego 1" ma zapewnić niezbędne przygotowanie operatorom, przystępującym do realizacji filmów fabularnych. W toku zajęć zostaną poruszone przede wszystkim zagadnienia tzw. pokrycia montażowego (czyli zapewnienia montażyście wystarczającej ilości materiału, umożliwiającej bezproblemowe zmontowanie sceny); zasady osi i kierunków spojrzeń; jak również potencjalnych błędów, które może popełnić nieświadomy montażu operator. W tym sensie autor zdjęć powinien przede wszystkim rozumieć zasady funkcjonowania montażu jako dynamicznego ciągu ujęć, które powinny dać się organicznie połączyć ze sobą. Doświadczenie nabyte podczas samodzielnego montowania własnych filmów rozwija umiejętności operatora podczas pracy na planie, a konkretnie, uczy „myślenia montażem”, tj. predykcji efektu wywołanego poprzez „sklejenie” kolejno przygotowywanych na planie ujęć.
