Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to present the issues and problems of the methodological workshop of an art historian. As part of the module, students learn about the multiplicity of definitions of a work of art and artistic value, as well as traditional and contemporary research methods. As part of the exercises, they analyze simple examples of the use of selected methods (compositional, formalistic, iconological, feminist, marxist, contextual, postmodern, etc.). |
