Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the module is to introduce you to selected issues and major areas of research in contemporary mass communication theory. The student becomes familiar with issues related to interdisciplinary research on mass communication, including the historical, technical, social and institutional conditions of media transformation and the emergence of a global media culture, the history of mass communication of the classical mass media era and electronic media, and deepens their understanding of communicological terminology in the context of transformations of means, forms, channels and modes of communication.
