Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to acquaint students with the transformations in European theatre of the modern period (from Classicism to Naturalism) and their influence on the shape of 20th and 21st century theatre art. As part of the module, the student acquires competences in recognising classical dramatic and theatrical solutions (directing, acting, scenography and dramaturgy) in contemporary stagings. They deepen their skills of analysing and interpreting dramatic works and theatrical performances that enter into dialogue with the tradition. |
