Purpose and description of the content of education:
The Classical Sociological Theories module aims to introduce students to the basics of the main assumptions of sociological theories, from the "founding" theories to the mature 19th-century and first half of the 20th-century sociological systems and methodological perspectives. Attention is also paid to the relationships between theories and scientific concepts and the historical context (socio-economic and political conditions) in which they were created, as well as their practical application.
