Purpose and description of the content of education: | The classes are designed to enable students to become familiar with the main legal acts related to the definition and diagnosis of environmental threats and the prevention and elimination of their effects, with particular emphasis on the so-called geohazards. Particular attention is paid to the provisions of Polish legislation (laws, executive acts) on environmental hazards, implementing within the scope of their regulation many European Union directives and taking into account the recommendations of global international arrangements (conventions, protocols).
