Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to present issues relating to the history of general film between 1926 and 1960. Within the module, students will gain an understanding of the formation of classic Hollywood cinema, and will then be introduced to selected phenomena, trends, authors and genres of classic era cinema around the world. |
