Purpose and description of the content of education:
The aim of the module is to familiarise students with the elements of copyright law, the principles of intellectual property protection and the rules of fair citation. The module familiarises the student with such issues as permitted use of protected works and computer programmes, intellectual property infringements and plagiarism and its legal consequences. An integral part of the course is a workshop to train the skills of fair and accurate citation of other people's texts, research results and fragments of works of art, paraphrasing and the preparation of footnotes, bibliographies, filmographies, netographies, gamegraphies and other types of lists and cross-references.
