Purpose and description of the content of education: | The aim of the module is to acquaint students with the understanding of mutual relations between avant-garde and modernity, and with selected representative phenomena of Polish avant-garde literature and art in the general context, including the broadly understood worldview background of the creators. Within the module the student will become acquainted with avant-garde works, the mechanisms of their creation and reception in a specific cultural context and aspects of their functioning as vital elements of tradition. |
