Purpose and description of the content of education:
During the course, students learn about the place of cultural studies in the system of cultural sciences and the humanities; they acquire the competence to distinguish cultural sciences from sciences auxiliary to cultural studies; they acquire the terminological and conceptual apparatus necessary for the work of a culturalist. They learn about the history of the term culture and the main definitions of culture.
